SAML (Shibboleth) Configuration

PowerFolder is able to authenticate users by SAML (Shibboleth) at the web portal, client and mobile apps. The diagram below shows the system configuration and required components. For details on the configuration of each component please consult the referenced documentation pages.

For compatibility we recommended to use the Shibboleth reference implementation: http://git.shibboleth.net/view/

Known issues with ECP: ECP is using ASCII for passwords. So umlauts in passwords aren't working with client authentication.
