External service providers using PowerFolder server are able to let their users agree on customized Terms of Service.

Set up custom Terms of Service

Firstly the administrator simply has to add the file tos.html to the [server_maintenance]/client_deployment directory. This file should contain only plain text, but may also contain simple HTML tags like <h1> or <p>.

Secondly the administrator enters a number greater than 0 (zero) in the newly added "Version of the Terms of Service:" field on the Preferences → Web → Appearance page.

Updating Terms of Service

To update the Terms of Service, just edit the tos.html file as needed and increment the version number in the "Version of the Terms of Service:" field.
