In rare cases it is possible that multiple owners might get set to a Folder

Scope

  • Server Administrators

  • Organization Administrators

Step by step

In the case there are multiple owners to one Folder

  1. You will see a message in the logs like

    Found multiple owners for folder Shared Documents: 2. Please go to https://pf.example.com/members/bGtqw7ZraGtsam5oaGtsaGxqa2hram5ram4= to resolve this issue.

  2. Click on the URL to get redirected to the Members list of the Folder

  3. All owner will have the "Make owner" button so that you can reset the owner permission to the Folder to only one user
