Upgrade Information

• Please read the complete Release Notes before upgrading.

• Please follow the regular upgrade documentation for Windows or Linux

• Upgrading any previous version is possible. It is recommended to update from version 11.7.

• Cluster: Running different versions on the servers in the cluster is supported but limited to version >= 14.

Mandatory checks before upgrading

• Did you receive a new branding and implemented this in your server_maintenance folder? Old brandings aren't supported with version 14.

• Did you check all your scripts that use our API? With version 14 the old API is not usable any longer.

Downgrade information (optional)

• In case a downgrade to a previous version is necessary:

  • Version 14 is forward and backward compatible to older and newer versions.

  • Simply replace the PowerFolder-Server.jar file with that from the previous version you would like to run.

  • Please keep in mind to insert your old branding.

• Log messages due to the higher schema version of database can be ignored:

  • [DatabaseMigrator]: Database layout version is newer than expected.
