Installation Instructions

  1. Download the PowerFolder Outlook Add-In installer.
  2. Run the downloaded file by double-clicking it and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
  3. Restart Outlook to complete the installation.

Configuration

To set up the PowerFolder Outlook Add-In, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings:

    • In Outlook, navigate to the PowerFolder tab.
    • Click on Option 1 to open the configuration settings.
  2. Enter Access Data:

    • Server Address: Input your PowerFolder server address.
    • Username: Enter your PowerFolder username.
    • Password: Enter your password.
    • Click OK to save.
  3. Set Additional FileLink Options (Optional):

    • Download Limit (Option 4): Define the maximum number of times a file can be downloaded.
    • Validity Period (Option 5): Set the number of days the file link remains active.


Attachment Size Limitations:

  • If Outlook is configured with Microsoft Exchange Server, the default attachment size limit is 20 MB. You can modify this limit through the Exchange Server settings.
