Use primary email address only (PFS-5567)

Use primary email address only — new PowerFolder Server option that forces the primary email address only. When enabled, users can no longer add or view additional email addresses, and the "Username" label is shown as "E-Mail".

New configuration entry introduced with PFS-5567.

Behaviour when enabled (true)

  • My Account: the additional-emails row (list + "Manage" button) is hidden; the primary email stays visible in the renamed "E-Mail" row.

  • The "Username" label is renamed to "E-Mail" (profile main row and WebDAV credentials).

  • Adding further email addresses is rejected on the server (HTTP 403), also via the API; removing existing extra emails is still allowed.

  • The admin checkbox label is translated in all 41 supported languages.

The default remains false; a server administrator enables the feature per checkbox.
