Clients are compatible with each other from any version.
🔒Support for HARICA SSL Certificates
In this server and desktop client version, the new certificate manager is active and uses both custom root certificates and system certificates (Windows & macOS).
For Linux/Server systems, the file jre/lib/security/cacerts must be replaced or updated.
FYI: The required cacerts can be downloaded here.
🔌HTTPS Server-Client-Tunnel using Web Sockets
The clients can also use the encrypted web sockets same as our iOS app, please use the following web proxy guide to enable the web sockets: WebSockets for iOS and Desktop Client#EnablingWebSocketsforClient
🌐Enabling Clients to use the Web Sockets
Add the following config. to the Default.config (server) or PowerFolder.config (client) when the clients should use the web sockets, precondition the web sockets should be enabled on your server:
connections.websocket=true⬇️ Downgrade Information (optional)
Re-install the older client version. No more extra steps are necessary.
