Viewing folder changes

The cloud web interface contains a news section, where you can check which changes occurred in your folders lately and by whom they were done. This way it's easy to track changes.

To check for changes in your folders simply click on News in the main menu while being logged in with your user account.

(info) The initial view will list all changes in all folders. To restrict the view to just a specific folder, click on the folder in question in the left navigation pane.

 

Receiving folder reports 

As we at PowerFolder aim to improve our product, we recently took onto ourselves to build in a feature which was proposed by our customer. With the function Folder Reports, managing folders and keeping track on synchronizations becomes easier. This feature can be accessed by simply clicking on Folder Reports on the left panel while being logged in. Available options are:

  • Send daily sync summary of all folders to the admin (by default this will be the account with the registered license).
  • Send daily sync summary to folder owners.
  • Send new warnings to the admin immediately (by default this will be the account with the registered license).
  • Send new warnings to folder owners immediately.
  • Send alert when our of sync (this can be altered to fit your desires).

Furthermore it is even possible to make Custom Alerts for specific folders which can be done in few steps:
  1. Type in the name of the folder for which an alert is to be created.
  2. A drop-down will appear where you will need to choose the folder your desired folder.
  3. Simply click Add .
  4. The folder will then appear like in the picture below (the owners name will appear inside the bracket to whom the alert will be sent)
  5. In addition making changes can even be done after adding a folder: applying changes to alert intervals, activating and deactivating the alert.
