When activating the server it return the error message: Unable to activate. Please check Email / Password.
The reason for this message can have several reasons:
- The server can't reach our licensing servers.
- The username and password entered is wrong.
- For problems with connecting to our licensing backend, please read the article in our documentation about solving problems with connecting to the licensing servers.
- If you ordered your license in 2014 or later, you need at least version 9 to activate the license.
- Please check your username and password by logging in with those credentials to https://my.powerfolder.com. If that doesn't work try to recover your password there and try the activation with the new password. Please also make sure you are using the right email address you ordered your license with.
