Upgrade Information

Please read the complete Release Notes before upgrading.
Please follow the regular upgrade documentation for Windows or Linux
Upgrading any previous version is possible. It is recommended to update from version 11.7.
Cluster: Running different versions on the servers in the cluster is supported but limited to version >= 14.

Mandatory checks before upgrading

Did you receive a new branding and implemented this in your server_maintenance folder? Old brandings aren't supported with version 14.
Did you check all your scripts that use our API? With version 14 the old API is not usable any longer.

Downgrade information (optional)

In case a downgrade to a previous version is necessary:
- Version 14 is forward and backward compatible to older and newer versions.
- Simply replace the PowerFolder-Server.jar file with that from the previous version you would like to run.
- Please keep in mind to insert your old branding.
Log messages due to the higher schema version of database can be ignored:
- [DatabaseMigrator]: Database layout version is newer than expected.
